Samsung Galaxy S7, Milan with eyes in the sky for the first city laser show.
An unprecedented event gave the city of Milan a unique show where an explosion of sound and light reached the skyscrapers of Porta Nuova, involving 20,000 people on the occasion of the Italian launch of the new Samsung Galaxy S7.
It was the first laser show ever seen in Europe that redesigned the metropolitan skyline to the notes of Waveforms in an original composition by Andro of Negramaro, with the extraordinary participation of Sergio Carnevale of Bluvertigo, violinist Mauro Pagani and Lele Sacchi, followed by a DJ set by Fatboy Slim.

Through an interweaving of lasers that connected the entire Porta Nuova area and touched the Samsung District building, the Bosco Verticale and Solaria skyscrapers, the Palazzo della Regione, and the UniCredit tower, Samsung created a large multimedia installation that tangibly exemplified the concept of connectivity, galaxy, and going beyond of the new Galaxy S7.

The show was made possible thanks to a central cube from which the entire show originated, and more than 100 beacons located at the apexes of the plaza and at the focal points of the installation, 260 laser stations, and more than 400 mirrors distributed on the top of the most important skyscrapers.
A system that transported guests inside an all-around experience, anticipating a completely new way of creating content and sharing special and unique moments thanks to the novelty of 360-degree video available with the new Galaxy S7.

Much more than a show, then, what took place in the Milan urban area: the central stage above the cube featured several exclusive performances, first and foremost the 12' musical composition that accompanied the city laser show and finally the beating magic of English DJ Fatboy Slim who literally made the entire audience dance.

Gruppo Peroni Eventi also handled the organization and management of the dinner, signed by Chef Davide Oldani, for 100 VIPs and organized on the 39th floor of the Palazzo della Regione Lombardia where the official presentation of the product by the President of Samsung Italy took place.
